Features

Built for the brewer
who keeps records.

Your batches and recipes are in your brewing software. Your MHP stats are in a Google Sheet. Your entry history is spread across competition portals. Grist is where all of it comes together.

Homebrew Software Sync
Connect Brewfather or Brewer's Friend and your recipes, batches, and fermentation data sync automatically.
Competition Tracking
Log every entry, record scores and judge feedback, track medals, and stay ahead of deadlines. Whether you're tracking a local club competition or the final round of NHC, it's all covered.
Scoresheet Extraction Pro
Upload a judged BJCP or AHA scoresheet PDF and Grist reads it for you; every judge's scores, comments, and off-flavors land on the entry. Typing them in by hand stays free.
MHP Progress
Connect your MHP tracking sheet and see your rank, subcategory scores, brewing stars, and exactly what it takes to reach the next tier.
Sight Pro
An AI assistant grounded in your own brewing data. Ask about a batch, get a plan for your next MHP rank, or have Sight draft an entry slate from the beers that are ready. On iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Reports
Career competition stats, score trends by BJCP style, medal breakdowns, and spend tracking. Filter by year or view your full brewing history.
Inventory
Everything in your brewery, tracked. Grains, hops, yeast, equipment, packaging materials, and cleaning supplies; with low-stock alerts and Brewfather sync for ingredients.
Packaging Runs
Record bottles and cans directly from a completed batch. Enter your count and container size; inventory deducts automatically. Each run gets a batch code that ties it to your competition entries for cleaner reporting.
Taps Web
A digital taplist for your keezer. Send a finished batch to a tap, line up what's on deck, and put a live board on any screen with style, ABV, IBU, and tasting notes.
